Rainy Day

Today, it rained heavily so much. My clothe was soaked by the heavy rain. This year is so strange weather, I think. Last week, it was so hot like summer. Everyday, I could not sleep well because of the heat. However, suddenly the rainy season seems to come back!! I do not like too hot, but I hate this season the most all the year. For, if the rain stops, a lot of insects start to move simultaneousely. It is hard for me. However, this rainy season passed, summer will come.
I am looking forward summer season. I am excited so much. Summer makes me something pleasant. There are a lot of events. I will pay attention to sunburn because the ultraviolet rays are the enemy against skin. Except this, summer is good season through the year.　

I want to enjoy summer season to my heart`s content!!

Banana juice

Recently, my boom is banana juice. I have been liked banana juice very much when I was a child. However, I often made it myself at home. At first, I started to look for the ripe banana in the convenient store close to my home. This is very important point. If a banana does not ripe much, juice itself will become bitter. Too ripe banana like black is good for making banana juice. If we do not add the sugar in the juice, the sweetness is enough. To make banana juice needs banana , milk, and sugar. But, by adding a vanilla ice cream or yoghurt to it, the taste becomes more delicious. For, if a vanilla ice cream adds, banana juice will change a frozen juice a little.
And if the yoghurt adds, it will change sour taste. The mixure with banana`s sweetness and yoghurt`s sourness fits so much.

I enjoy making juice, especially banana juice, now. I felt it was more tasty than I drank by buying. I want to keep making banana juice by myself as possible as I can, I think.

Umizaru

" Umizaru " means Sea Monkey. The Maritime Safety Agency is called so. And this is my favorite comic`s title, too. This treats about the works of the maritime safety agency which we do not know well. The time that for the first time I read this comic was when I was a high school student. I read it in spare moments from my study for the examination. As it was so interesting and deep story, I liked it so much as soon as I started to read. First, the hero of this story was only a trainer as a diver. The diver in the maritime safety agency is the forefront work. It is the most dangerouse work but challenging work. The hero experienced many trials and became strong gradually as the professional diver. He always be straightforward and never give up. Such his character moved other people`s heart.

Last Summer, this comic became a movie. The setting was a quite different with a comic, but the movie was good, too. I was moved to tears. And this summer, it became a drama. I am looking forward to watching it so much. It must be interesting. The picture will be powerfull. I recommend this story !! If the occasion arises, please check it!!

Sagajitsu

"Sagajitsu" is the name of baseball team in the Sagamihara Festival Committee. The team is consisted of some people who like playing a baseball. Last saturday, I wathed the game for the first time. The game was held in the " Hibari " baseball stadium in Fuchinobe. The opposition was " espowaru " which was baseball circle in the Aoyama Gakuin University, too. The game started at pm 18:30. At first, " Sagajitsu " took a 5-0 lead. I thought " Sagajitsu " was stronger than I expeted. However, the baseball game has a complete reversal!! So, it is interesting and exciting sports! The game finished at the sixth inning, but the top of the fifth inning, it was " Espowaru " turn. They attacked. They had 5 points at a burst. Before the fifth inning , " Sagajitsu " took 5-3 lead. But, at this time the score became 5-8. Our tables were turned!! The bottom of the sixth inning, our attacking turn. All of our hearts were beating. When the bases are loaded with two outs, the player who was wearing uniform number 1 hit grand slam!And, the game was over. The score was 8-8. The game finished the tie.

It was so refreshing game!! I was so exciting and molved the last home run. I want to watch the game again if the occasion arises.

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower was made in1956 ( the period of shouwa33) . The higtht is 333 meters. This is the symbol of Tokyo. Though the highest tower in the world is the CN Tower ( Canadian National Tower) in Toront , Tokyo Tower is famous, too.

I have never been to there though I grew up in Tokyo. As Tokyo tower was too familiar with me until now , I did not try to visit there. However, recently, Tokyo tower changed a little to make us entertain more. It became easy for us to go there as the close existance, I heard. I was interested in the new Tokyo tower. So, I decided to go there.Then, on June 25th, I went to Tokyo tower with my friends. We met Hamamatsuchou station at 12:30. And then, we walked for there. It took about 30 minites from the station to Tokyo tower under the flaming sun. On the way, we found the temple of jouzou. It was big and magnifient temple surrounding the green though it was located on the center of Tokyo. As the street to there was an aisle, sometimes the arbor was comfortable.

At 13:00 we arrived at Tokyo tower at last. It was much bigger than I expected. In the tower, it was quite different. I imaged Tokyo tower was the gloomy place, but so clean and brighten. First, to my surprise, on the first floor, there are an aquarium and a small convenient store. My image was broken in a twinkle. As we wanted to go the second floor, we went there as soon as we arrived. On the second floor, there are many shops, especially I was surprised at the Hello Kitty`s shop. There are a lot of the local kitty`s straps all over the country. Tokyo tower was the holy place of Kitty. We were excited there for a long time. I wanted to go there again if I have a chance.

The Brotherhood Association

We hold the meeting about the sagamihara festival every Friday. On June 24th, after the meeting, we held the brotherhood association for the freshman at the bar in Machida.
This year, about 40 freshmans add to the Sagamihara Festival Executive Committee newly. So, on this day, 54 people took part in this party!! It was so big party, and so lively. In the commitee, there are 5 departments; the general affairs department I belong to, the financail, the projective, the publicity, and the enviromental department. There are a lot of people I do not know yet in the committee. I tried to contact with many juniors and made friendships with them well. I passed a good time, I thought.

In addition, many seniors who go to the Aoyama campus since this year, took part in the party, too. They are very interesting , unique, and generous. I like such them so much. I was happy because I could hear thier talks about their lifestyles and their study etc. They are so useful and interesting for me. Especially, about thier study and their futures are so. It was useful time. After the party ended, I arrived at home at about 11 o`clock. I enjoyed the party, but I wanted to endeavor more healthy life, I thought.

The Japanese Archery Meeting

On July 18th, I took part in the japanese archery meeting. It held at the Tokyo matial arts gymnasium in Ayase station. Ayase station is located on Chiba city. It is so big meeting twice a year which 5 universities always take part in ; Keio university, Hosei univ. , Chuou univ. , Waseda univ. , Komazawa univ. , and Aoyamagakuin univ. In Waseda university, there are two japanese archery circles, so always they take part in it together. On this day, we congregated at the Tokyo matial arts gym at 10 `clock. We always wear hakama, long pleated culotte-like Japanese trousers, when we take part in the big game. However, it takes a long time to finish to wear them all, we must have come here early. After we wore them, we practiced the japanese archery for the game a little. The japanese archery shram at the Tokyo matial arts gym is 4times as big as Hamamatsuchou`s ashram we usuraly use when we practice. There are 20 targets. Everytime I go there , I always am overpowered with the spread of the ashram.

At 12 o`clock, the game started. We release 8 arrows through all the game and compete the total of the arrow which we can hit the target with each other. When we release an arrow, we make the group. There are 4 people per one group. We call ` tachi` , the frequency before we stand the target. We release an arrow together with members of my groups per 1 `tachi`. Totally, we play 2 `tachi`. …It is so difficult to explain about the japanese archery`s rules .
Anyway, as we make the group like this in each university, the total of the groups is 18 groups. So, the game takes 4hours until all the game finished. Approximately, we can play in the finals when we can hit the targets with 5 or 6 arrows. It is so difficult. Today, I could hit only 2. In Aoyamagakuin university, the strongest player could hit only 4 . In 6 universities, Waseda university is the most strong univ. I do not know the reason. But, they are strong. On this day, Waseda univ. also won the game!! In the final game, we decided the winners in the different way before the final game. The player who go on to the finals compete with the distance to the target , not the total of an arrow. They can release only 1 arrow. It is more difficult. All of them feel high pressure, I think. The air in the ashram is streched. However, it is worth watching , I think. I like the atmosphere at this time. Today, it was good game.

The demonstration

From June 13th to June 16th except 15th , we , the sagamihara festival executive committee, held the demonstration for the participating groups to take part in the festival. For, they need to registrate the entry seet. We held it from at 18:30~in F101 class. Before it was held, we feld so anxious whether the participating groups gather or not. If we want to prosper the festival so as that everyone can enjoy it, without no the participating groups or no cooperation of them we never hold the festival. The participating groups is gods for us.

At 18:30. Many people gathered in the class more than as we expected. We found the name which took part in the festival last year. What is more , we could find the name which did not take part in it last year. When we saw the name, we feld so happy. At this demonstration, we explained how registrain the entry seet for the Sagamihara Festival formally, and from now on, how preparate with the festival. Anyway, there were many kinds of the participating groups. However, mainly they are divided into three groups ; the booth plan, the class plan , and the stage plan. The booth plan shows the plan to sale the food. The class plan shows the plan to do something in the classroom; the movie showing and the study release etc. The stage plan shows the plan to play the live on the stage; the dance live and the band. This time , many kinds of groups came the demonstration. Though maybe we will be busy, we were so happy.

Pomu`s Tree

Pome`s Tree is the special restaurant of an omelet containing fried rice. This restaurant`s an omlet containing fried rice is so delicious! It has many chains throughout Tokyo. However, the restaurant in Hashimoto station is near to the Aoyamagakuin University. I often to go here after the school with my friends. Especially, when we are late to go home because of the Sagamihara Festival committee`s meeting.

In this restaurant , they are particular about its taste and size and kinds. First, there are 4 sizes of an omlet containing fried rice; SS, S, M, L. SS size suits for women. So, I always eat this size. The difference between each size is the amount of eggs. Maybe, L size is made of 5 eggs. As it is so big, even 5 people can finish to eat all, I think. Second, there are two tastes of rice in the omlet. One is ketchup rice , another one is butter rice. Mainly, butter rice is used in the plain omlet or white creamed one. We can choose which rice we want to eat. The butter rice is good, but I recommend the ketchup rice. Finally, there are a lots of kinds of an omlet. At least, there are 30 kinds , I think. In these menus, there are some strange omlets; Okonomiyaki tastes etc. The various omlet is so attractive for me. For the first time I went to this restaurant, I was surprised at a lots of kinds of an omlet. So, it took a long long time to choose the omlet I wanted to eat at that time. And , I thought that I have never tasted anything so good in my life. My friend and I were moved so much. Though they are particukar about them, the price is reasonable and this restaurant seems to be popular among many people. If you have a chance you visit here, please try it!!

Sagasai

I belong to the Sagamihara Festival executive committee since last year. In the Fuchinobe campus, the Sagamihara Festival is held on Octover 9th and 10th every year. This year, too. The reason to enter this committee last year was that I wanted to do what I can do only when I am college student . I thought if I entered this committee , I enjoyed my college life more and more. I entered the general affairs department to backup this festival and contact directly with the participating groups. As one expected, I enjoyed this work now.

Anyway, the Sagamihara Festival has a young history. This year is only third year. So, its celebrity is not high. However, there are lots of possibilities,I think. And, the task to make this festival improve so as that everyone who comes to this Festival can enjoy, is very challenging. My friends in this committee are all cheerful, active and highly motivated for this Festival.

And this year, from June 7th, our full-dress activity for this Festival started. First of all, this festival needs many participating groups and we must advertise the date of the festival this year. This work is first one as the general affairs department. We made some posters and a lot of bills for only one week. And we handed out from June 7th to 9th. Handouting the bills is very hard work because we have a brave to call other people. However, after this work was finished, we feld achievement. I am looking forward how many groups enter the festival this year.

My Twentieth Birthday

I becomed twenty on May 28th. I did not want to be twenty, because I missed that I had to graduate from teenager. I felt it was so quickly to pass for twenty years. I could not believe it. However, there was a happy thing on that day. It was not only bad things. I was very happy because my friend, family, and relatives congratulated my birthday. And I can drink an alcohol formally from now on , but on my own responsibility. I try to pay attention for a drink. As teenager is easygoing but unstable position, it is good to be allowed as an adult clearly by the society. I am looking forward to the Coming of Age Day. We can wear long-sleeved kimono once through the whole life. I did not decide my definite objective on this year, but I want to enjoy twenty to my heart`s content!!

My Fair Lady

On last friday, in the second class about British poet, I finished to watch the movie " My Fair Lady". It is an old movie. This original story was written by Barnerd Shaw in 1900`s. The main cast is Ordry Hepbern. I watched it for the first time. I was moved by this story.This story was about the native language, especially English in this story. For the first time, the heroine was the poor flower-girl. But, she met a phonetician in the street. Her life was change dramatically. He said to her, " If I teach English for you, after one month, you can go to the formal promenade." She began to learn how to speak " right" English from him , not but the dialect so as to be the fair lady. It was so hard for her. She was bullyed by the phonetician , whose name was Professor Higgins, many times. However, at last, she could go the formal promenade and be fair lady. She became to speak " right" English. I thought that Shaw wanted to say " There is a discrimination by the language between the poor and the rich. The only way of speaking decides one`s life. However, it is not good. All people should not be discriminate by the language. We have the right to receive an equal education for our own language. In this story , Higgins proved that if we can speak "right" English, we imitate the rich. But, not imitation, we need to get the true language." through this movie. Golf

I read the article " Teen star power pulling kids into golf " on the nikkei weekly news paper. The contents of this article was written like " Teen-age sensations Ai Miyazato and Sakura Yokomine are causing a stir in professional golf circles. As a result , the popularity of the game among young children of school age is growing. " I understood that children who are interested in golf are increasing gradually because of
Ai Miyazato and Sakura Yokomine. I think not only yong children but also even adult are fell for them now.
I watched TV program about the championship game of golf last saturday. In this game, both Miyazato and Yokomine entered in. Miyazato` s game on that day was almost all perfect , I felt. She has almost no failure in her play. I was attracted by her excellent play. I did not believe that she was the same age as me. While Miyazato`s form is beautiful like a model, Yokomine`s one is very powerful. Her form makes us feel her countless possibility. I think we leave Ai Miyazato to our dream or longing ,and we link Sakura Yokomine
`s barbarrity figure to ourselves in everyday life. In fact, I was not interested in golf at all until then I knew Miyazato and Yokomine. However , I am interested in it. I do not begin golf like the kids of the article, but it was good prompt for me to know golf . I think golf is more popular among yong people in the future because of their activity. I hope so.

Feel relaxed

Today, I went to Hamamatsuchou to practice japanese archery. I go there once a week. On every saturday, our coach, who keep practicing japanese archery for about forty years , comes to the ashram so as to teach it for us.There is the ashram in the old Shiba imperial villa garden . In Hamamatsuchou, a lot of high buildings are standing and Tokyo Tower is near to this garden, too. However, in this garden, there are a lot of green and flowers. If it was good weather,we can release an arrow from a bow while feeling a fresh wind. Our coach always says to me " Be relax. Don`t work hard. To keep practicing is more important than only to think."
When I heard this word for the first time, I was very surprised. For, I often hear the word " Do your best as possible as you can." So, I realized that to do my best like mad is easy, but it is difficult to do my best while feel relaxed. I was taught not only japanese archery`s skill but also the important things for our life by him , I always felt. It is very good environment for me.

Cold Mountain

I watched the movie last night. It was "Cold Mountain". This story was about the Civil War. The main casts were Nicole Kidman & Judo Law. As this is a tragic love story , the ending is so sad. However , this movie was worth watching , I felt.

On sunday, I went to be my old high school with my friends . This day, there was a school`s festival . I belonged to badminton club when I was a high school student. So, I watched my junior`s retirement game. I received a good influence from it. They were very bright! I refreshed so much!
